The Happy Cow guide has named London as the most vegan-friendly city in the world in 2019. In their annual review London came out in number one spot, followed by New York, Berlin, Los Angeles, Toronto, Warsaw, Portland, Bangkok, Tel Aviv and Prague.
The report cited the continued growth in the number of fully vegan eateries in London, as well as the proliferation of vegan market stalls, bakeries, cafes, juice bars, and the recently opened vegan cheese shop La Fauxmagerie.
Ken Spector of Happy Cow commented “Veganism continues to become a mainstream lifestyle in London, and this city takes veganism to a new level.”
At vegan.london we hope this will grow and continue, with London leading the way to a vegan future world-wide, just as London has lead the way in other aspects of society and culture.
